AHG Troop MD 1776
Thanks for checking out our troop! You're welcome to come visit us any time and are invited to sign up when ready. We meet the 1st and 3rd* TUESDAY of the month from 6:00pm to 7:30pm at Chesapeake Christian Fellowship. (NOTE: AHG is currently on a summer break and will resume September 6th, 2022)
*On the 4th Tuesday of each month, we will not meet as the troop leaders reserve that week for planning.
Our troop starts each meeting all together in our church sanctuary. After our flag procession and devotional time, we often split into unit groups to work on our badges with our unit leaders and peers.
Pathfinders are our 5 to 6 year-olds and their unit leaders are Ms. Kandi and Ms. Jessica.
Tenderhearts are 6 to 9 year-olds and their unit leaders are Ms. Crystal and Ms. Stacey.
Explorers are 9 to 12 year-olds and their unit leaders are Ms. Emily and Ms. Julie.
Pioneers and Patriots are aged 12 to 18 and their unit leaders are Ms. Kim and Ms. Kate.
WHY ARE YOU LADIES SO WEIRD?
Almost all of us work together all week long in our school here at our charter church. We're a family. We absolutely love our girls and the families they represent! We saw an opportunity with AHG to help minister to the next generation and help them grow in their faith and patriotism and we're here to do that! You may find our troop is a little relaxed on some AHG formalities, but we keep our focus on the faith and growth in our kids all the same.
HOW MUCH DOES IT COST?
Costs vary by unit level, but approximately $70 to $140 per year.
HOW DO I SIGN UP?
When you're ready to join our troop, please turn in your email address to Ms. Kim or Ms. Courtney and we can either send you an email invite or sign you up in person. If you sign up via email, we ask that you choose the option to defer payment to the troop when registering.
HOW DO I KEEP IN TOUCH?
Not quite ready to officially sign up yet, but want to stay in the loop? Give Ms. Kim or Ms. Courtney your email and we'll add you to our email list. Feel free to come by and visit us anytime.
